    Very disappointing. Over priced.
We had the 7 course dinner and 3 was disappointing on different levels. the bug meat and bone marrow jaffle was not clever at all, the presentation was terrible. if it was a casual café food it would be ok. The duck and salt aged carrot, the duck is perfect but the carrots were extremely salty, doesn't see how it could compliment the meat. The 2nd desert is again really salty and completely off the balance.

Stayed here overnight and had a 7 course dinner. Staffs were nice and friendly. Food and wine were great. The accommodation was very good. Bed was very comfy. It was an experience night but totally worth it.

Went in for casual dining without reservation and it was quite easy. A la carte lunch. Interesting menu but was lacking something. Ambience was good but was expecting something more from a hatted restaurant

Dined here for lunch, had the tasting menu, food is interesting and tasty. For a 2 hatted restaurant the let down was the fact that there were many children running around, making noise. When you pay $200++ per head you expect a dining experience that reflects the cost. Also the service, while friendly is unprofessional, staff did not present or explain the dishes which is critical for a tasting menu, they also knew nothing about the wine list of food pairing. If you are ready to spend the money, I do not recommend this restaurant, we were looking forward to the experience but we left disappointed.

Good fine dining fare and philosophy but it's the gastropub style bar menu next to a burning log fire in winter that is the true winner here.

Love this place. It is such a haven, set in beautiful grounds. The food is always perfect and coupled with great service.

The food was fine but nothing spectacular as there are not many options for special occasion dining in the area. My sister was sick before we even got through starters and we asked to stop the tasting for her as she was too ill to enjoy the food. They were empty so it was not like we were taking up valuable table space. They charged the full amount for her. Seriously??? That is really poor form. At least have told us that they would charge us the full amount before hand. Very very disappointed.

Delightful grounds and a wonderful fitout provide the perfect environment to enjoy food that is all about the story. It may not be the most delicious meal you ever have (close though) but if you take the time to engage with the story of what is on your plate it just might be the best meal you ever have.
