  Took my wagon in here to get some coilovers supplied and fitted.
  The experience I received was outstanding not to mention he had it completely finished and road tested all within 3hours!
  Any questions I had Brendan was always willing too answer them, if you’re looking for a mechanic that’ll listen to what you have to say and not big note themselves and talk over you then these guys are the ones you should be dealing with!
  
  You won’t regret going here, I promise you that!
  Even after reading all the negative reviews I was left questioning myself “how did a place so welcoming end up with review like this”
  
  End of the day; Brendan is a legend and he knows what his doing when it comes to your pride and joy so forget the negative reviews and go see for yourself.

  Big shout out to Brendan and Team for allowing my son to do work experience at Backlash Automotive . My son truely enjoyed himself and learned a fair bit while his time there . Good luck to you all 😊

  After agreeing to a refund so I would delete my review and did so, I am sorry but I feel compelled to re-instate it. I have taken the wheels to be fixed elsewhere and have been told the botched job means the tyres cannot be repaired. I was happy to walk away, but a $300 refund will not make up for damage to $2,400 worth of tyres.
  When the first response to the problem was "this is odd, I'll check with my supplier why this has happened" it was clear they weren't going to accept any blame or offer to fix it (not that I would want them anywhere near my car again anyway).
  I will say that they were nice enough to deal with, but if I'm reviewing the business and the job done, the only possible rating I can give for my personal experience is the minimum rating. Hopefully a rare experience, but you can't pay people off to delete their reviews (how many others I wonder?) when the cars are left damaged.
  
  Edit to response: As I said, you have been nice enough to deal with but I can only comment on my single experience and hope it is better for other people. It is up to other people if they want to take the risk on the overwhelmingly positive comments you have. I honestly find a business seems more trustworthy if they just accept a bad review as an outlier instead of trying to make excuses or pay people off to delete their reviews. Anyway, I can assure you the glue DOES NOT come off (having tried acetone and other cleaners) and the tyres are indeed permanently damaged. Fool me once, shame on me

  Brendan and the team down at Backlash are highly professional. They take great care of cars especially lowered cars where most companies aren’t catered for the lowered height. Will never take my car anywhere else they have a customer for life.

  My clutch became faulty on my Lexus. It involved de-fitting the transmission, sending off the master slave cylinder to Queensland, receiving a replacement, and re-assembling the gearbox.
  
  Recommended by a friend, I chose Backlash Automotive for the job.
  
  Brendan and the friendly team had great, professional communication along the whole repair process via phone and email keeping me up to date and informed. The repair was done at a great price, and high quality work. I am very happy with the repair, it shifts and drives better than before!
  
  I recommend Backlash Automotive highly, and will be coming back for all future repairs and Auto jobs!
