We recently held our wedding reception at Avalon Golf Course and we couldn't be happier. Friendly helpful staff, well priced and the perfect sized venue for our group of about 50 guests. We had our tables set up in the beautiful room overlooking the 2nd fairway with the band and dance floor in the smaller room. It was perfect! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful relaxed venue to hold a function.

For a very hilly course in a suburb with reasonably elderly demographics motorised carts are essential but not available. Greens need some work. But this could be a great asset to Avalon if properly operated

This is one of the best courses I have played and for the price exceptional. The settings are fabulous. There is a marquee 16th hole par 3 where you tee off with the ocean in the back drop. The club house has fantastic views of the course and the ocean.

The owners were not nice to us and put the money in his pocket😱 He then just said yeah first tee over there hurry up before next group! The tee box was like a bush, the grass was up to your ankles😐 the green was like a fairway at a good course! It was bumpy and if your ball was going near the hole it would jump up to the wrong side even with no slope😰 There was also a dead bunny surrounded by flies. Also when I split the middle with my drive I was in mud and looooong grass. Terrible. Would. It recommend 👎 Royal North Turramurra is a cheaper and better public course. Check out my review there.
