Came in here to buy a couple of stamps for Christmas cards as I was up in Blaxland a couple of weeks before Christmas, and asked about postage boxes and the sizes they had (as I had to mail some gifts to interstate rellos). The woman serving was incredibly rude and unfriendly, insulted that my query would require her to get up off her fat overpaid arse. Sold me the stamps and when I said 'have a nice day' she just grunted at me.
Only giving it 2 stars because it was open on a Saturday which most post offices aren't.
happy, helpful people, nice giftwares via the chemist/pharmacy store also
Friendly corner post office. Staff can be so-so and can take a while for them to acknowledge you but are generally friendly.
Small community P.O. friendly service.
I have had expensive items that I have purchased online go "missing" for several weeks, that is until I lodged a formal complaint against them for mail tampering and low and behold my mysteriously lost packages were very quickly and very suddenly found merely sitting on the shelf... The parcel delivery driver is a convicted drug dealer who has no qualms using physical and verbal threats in an attempt to scare you out of following through with any formal complaints...
Customer service does not exist here. You can stand at the counter for 10 minutes almost face to face with the staff and they won't acknowledge you until they are good and ready. Also, expect a lot of rolling of the eyes etcetera if you ask for anything.
