After persisting with our previous accountant for far too long we made the switch to Ascent. It's been less than a month and all my issues are already resolved. 2 years worth of personal/business/super returns now done and for the first time ever, we can think about forward planning.

Being quoted up front is not something I'd experienced before with an accountant and it's great to know up front what your likely bill is going to be, and what the scope of work is.

The work was carried out efficiently, the communication was excellent, and the bill was very reasonable.

I highly recommend Ascent Accountants and have already directed others to their services.

Nick assisted me with my EOFY tax return and I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. As a contractor, tax time is a daunting task and I was worried that I would be hugely out of pocket as I had not been diligent with putting tax payable aside during the course of the financial year. Nick went the extra mile to ensure that I received the best possible result. It was refreshing to deal with an accountant who was interested in what I had to say, rather than take things into their own hands and push me out the door.

A friend recommended Ascent to us some 24 years ago under the leadership of Michael Bray. Not long after that Michael introduced us to a young Nigel Parker (he is still young!) and so started a partnership that still exists today. They took care of our business and personal requirements. Ascent has always without fail put time aside to take our calls, answer our queries or give us advice. Despite the fact that we now live in Victoria it will not occur to us to change our accountancy firm. This is a good time to thank Ascent for their loyalty towards us may we still depend on each other for another 24 years.

My mum reccomended Ascent 5 years ago and I have used ascent accountants for 4 years now. The girls at reception are beyond friendly, helpful and informative and the accountants are always able to give me great information and work with me to complete what I need. I reccomend Ascent to all my friends and family at tax time. I give 5 stars and I would give 5 more if I could.

Nigel is a bloody Legend and so are all the staff. I had what I thought was the best accountant you could come across until my wife said try Ascent as she used to use them. I gave it ago and without a shadow of a doubt she was right. Very intelligent and on the ball. First accountant every to ring me telling to get things to them. They even talk to me on my level of intelligence. You would be mad not to give them a go.
