Excellent cafe, great atmosphere, top notch food and coffee, and most importantly, lovely staff. Plus the opportunity to find a gem of a book. One of my favourite cafes.

Cozy used books store. They also sell food and coffee. The veggie lasagna was excellent. You can grab a coffee, a book and sit down in one of the many corners of the store. I saw a guy doing some kind of research, like in a library. And the staff is very helpful

Beautiful cozy cafe and book store. I could easily sit here for hours! Good selection of second hand books as well.

The soy milk in my capacino was all lumpy so I Dident drink it, that was a shame but the food was decent and I’m going to continue reading this book I found so I’ll be back. I love the atmosphere, if the coffee was better I’d say it was my favourite cafe, it has that real home feeling, love it.

Ampersand used to be a favourite but the service standard has gone south. Great place nonetheless - cosy and vast selection of titles. Considerable number of seats around to work on laptops.

Coffee sweet, staff prefer chitchat instead of serving customers. Average waiting time for long black 15 mins when place is not busy at all. Will not come back

Staff member offered for us to sit downstairs as there was more room but we seemed to be forgotten about. Our food came before the coffees with no knife or fork. We finished the food before a staff member was near enough to ask about the coffees. No explanation or apologies given. Will visit somewhere else next time.

Nice place, bad experience. 3 out of 4 things we bought were great. But a sandwich we asked to be toasted was stuck under a grill, burned on one side and was dry and mediocre at best. Never heard of a cafe press? I can do better at home. The male staff member was bored and indifferent. The female looked scared but was nice. Such a waste of what was obviously once good.

This is a cute little cafe, the book tower out front caught my eye. The coffee was good.

Although I had to make my order twice cause the person who originally took the order had finished her shift and left without passing the order to the next person. But good coffee, good sweets. I like the deck set up.

Great setup. Coffee consistency depends on the barista of the day. Rooms inside for warmth & privacy. Courtyard outside great for people gazing.

The place is nice. 3 floors of books. The staff was great. Great service. But somehow my coffee didn't turn out to be that great. Which could be a one off thing.
