In stunning surroundings you can enjoy fine fishing, kayaking on the river, bird watching, and see koalas, kangaroos and wallabies. You can hike along the coastal trail for spectacular views in either direction. Ambitious souls can also tackle the 12.4 kilometres to wild and beautiful Johanna Beach. There used to be free camping but no longer, with composting toilets but no running water.
