Confusing onboarding process for participant with NDIS plan requiring AT. Ability WA demanding 100 point verification. Explained that elderly pareents couldn`t find the required ID. They offered to transfer me to the NDIS. When I explained that in order to become a participant the NDIS would have verified their identity and would the NDIS plan be verification enough so we could get the AT required, they said it was their policy not to accept it. Tried another AT provider. 5 minutes later job was accepted requiring only name, address, NDIS number, D.O.B. and referral. Beaurecratic and archaic in a time where NDIS is confusing enough and services are becoming more streamlined to assist those with disabilities and their families.

I work at this awesome facility. The care and services it provides is exceptional. Staff and management are hands on and very experienced. Amazing culture and vibe.

Have had a very pleasant experience With The ability centre over the last 28 years from the early memories of when I used to go to Day Care and Bonnie and Joan used to drive me to now where I'm building a wheelchair that will allow me to aspire to all the worlds opportunities without limitations at the end of the day it's not about the bricks and mortar and I have spent many long night in those before obtaining my own rental in the northern suburbs it's about The team around you of expert You do you have the choice to say which therapist you want to work with within the organisation so don't just look At the organisation on a whole it's your service

Very much a For-Profit Disability organisation that is poorly managed, heavily beaurocratic, has an extremely high staff turnover and a toxic work culture that treats their workers and 'Customers' with utter disregard. If you are differently abled do not use their services. If you are with them, do yourself a favour and just leave. Go somewhere else because they are only getting worst.
