My partner and I dined here, I ordered the seafood platter the only decent part was the battered whiting, the squid was dry and lacked flavour, the bacon had hardly even been cooked and the rest of the items were tasteless and dry. The drinks and meals are extremely overpriced for what's basically a bistro meal. Wasn't offered any sort of compensation only to be told the chef had sent out the same meal to other tables and not received any other complaints. Left feeling extremely disappointed.

The food was ok a notch above your standard pub fare but only just.. it was pretty cold and empty inside the night we were in and we struggled to get service..

Lunch meals were great, they dont know how to measure alcohol. Schoonas are glass size, pints are Schoonas, a glass is probably a shot.

My wife and I shared a full lobster Thermidor. It was one of the most delicious things we've ever had and would highly recommend it. The lobster meat was tender and succulent and the salad that came with it tasted like some effort had been put into preparing it. Our 7 year old son had the salt and pepper squid and he absolutely loved it.

The only downer was the service - we had to wait for a bit to be shown to our tables despite the fact that we had made a prior reservation. There was a further delay in placing our order because there didn't seem to be anyone around to take it. My wife had to go and ask one of the staff members twice before someone came to take our order.

Will recommend the restaurant highly for the food even though the service was a bit lacklustre.
