Awesome choice for skiing with friends. Ski slopes are very well maintained. There are some great free ride slopes to try. "Black mamba" it's better to try it in the morning. It's open from 8:15 to 16.00.
A great ski resort with amazing views on a clear day. Plenty of routes for varying abilities. Lots of ski lifts some even with heated seats. Typical
Austrian resort, well run and efficient.
Best from the best! The resort is awesome, super beautiful and comfortable. There are plenty of VEGAN 🌱 options in their restaurant in the Alpine Center which is in the center of the resort.there are also 2 or three terrain parks with kickers) and several free ride runs. However there are very very many skiers, like 75 % for sure, so if you are snowboarding there, be careful they will beat you with their poles nonstop
Great place to be at. Spent appx 4 hrs there with kids. Full of fun!!! Just a bit if advice for people planning to go there. Buy warm head gears and snow gloves and water resistant shoes to enjoy fully. You can buy all this at local shop up at first stop but it would cost you fortune to get it up there.
Great skiing even in November. We had terrible weather so didn't see much of the views from the top of the mountain but I can imagine how wonderful they must be when the clouds part and the sun shines. You can easily take several cable cars to go from the parking lot all the way to the top of the mountain. There are two cable cars from the parking area. The one underneath is best for getting onto the next cable car as there's less walking involved. There are several chair lifts all over the mountain so often there are different options to getting to the same area.
As a snowboarder getting off chairlifts can be tricky but all of the ones here have flat areas so it's easy to get off them without falling over in a pile a few metres from the lift. There are a few T-bar drag lifts over the glacier bits which we successfully avoided.
The park was shut probably because of the weather but it looked nice with lots of rail features. Didn't see any jumps but then again the visibility was bad. From one of the chairlifts we were able to make out the outline of a half pipe with some skiers being dragged up to the top of it by a skidoo.
Overall nice place to snowboard, pity about the weather.
