Schöne Bar mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Leider braucht die Bedienung ein wenig lange aber das wird durch Charme wieder wett gemacht.

This is by far the best pub in Bad Ischl. The beers are good, the food is authentic and filling, and they have events quite often. Check their FB page and book a spot if there is an event.

We had a char fish (supposedly from the nearby hallstatt see) and boiled beef, both were perfect.the place has a cool atmosphere and staff is very friendly.

Amazing restaurant! Food, service, and beer were all top notch. Some of the best food I've had in Austria in the last two years of frequent visits. Their beef is just wonderful, the carpaccio, tartare, and steaks are to die for. Even their simple dish of noodles and cabbage was beautifully executed. When we went they had a keg of Augustiner dark and white beer that was left over from the Munich Oktoberfest, and a lovely on tap Weiss beer that was one of the best in town. The waiters were great, spoke quite decent English. There was a live band as well that played really well and even though we were at the next table, it was a normal volume and we could still have a conversation about how good the beer and food was.
