Claudia and Michael are wonderful hosts who are equally passionate about their food. All courses in the Wilderin menu (which can change daily based on ingredients available) are prepared in house. Each plate delighted my palate at many levels, hot with cold; crisp with soft; moist with dry truly amazing!

The best meal we had in Innsbruck, with a strong ethos to serve fresh, local produce and make full use of all parts of the animal. Very imaginative menu, with delicious food and a well chosen wine list. Good service, the owners are also a lot of fun and very helpful. We ate at die Wilderin twice during our stay, including celebrating a birthday. Good value for money and highly recommended.

My favourite restaurant in Innsbruck! Lovely atmosphere, small and cosy, the food is always fresh from local farmers and seasonal. The menu is constantly changing, so no matter how many times you go there is something new and delicious to try. Staff is very friendly, just make sure to call ahead and make a reservation, they're usually pretty packed.

A gem in the old city (Innsbruck). Revolves around the premise of bringing the farm to the table. The menu revolves around what is available from the market and garden. In the winter, carrots and cabbage. The food was excellent. Great atmosphere with service to match. No problem with English speakers.

Brilliant. Hostess lovely, informative and accommodating. Some have reviewed the food as boiled beef and mash - if this is your mind set, then yes, it is. But it will be the best beef and mash you will get in the area, and actually considering its provenance and ethos, it would be considered excellent in the UK and would cost another €10 on top of the very reasonable prices. If you can get a table, go here - you will not be disappointed!
