I have been there several time and it was good experience. Beer and traditional food was very good. Service was a bit slow, but it was ok.

Almost perfect. Cesar salad was great. The chicken was a bit dry and my steak came well done but was replaced by a medium cooked steak without any complaints. So I guess steaks are not their specialty. Beer is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and kind. Even though the place was full we were offered to wait and have a drink and might be able to get a seat. Waiting was estimated to around 20 minutes but we were lucky. Just after receiving our drinks a table was free. The views are gorgeous overlooking the old Donau. Almost had full moon which made the view even more romantic. I'd go here again but will avoid the steaks next time.

Very tasty ribs, cooked on coal grill. Usually in Vienna they are made in steam ovens, the difference is hard not to notice. The location is very beautiful, be sure to go in summer while the open air garden on the ricer bank is open

First, the food is nothing to write home about. But the setting, on a summer's evening, with some friends or family, the view over the dark waters of the Alte Donau, possibly a Venetian Gondola passing by (YES!!! it really happened) and maybe the moon setting It can't get a lot better than that. You absolutely have to book a table in advance.

Fairly well kept, not sure if it's up-market or not. More than you'd pay elsewhere locally but excellent location, generous portions and good food. Try the beef "salad"!

The location is a category all on its own, as are most of the prices on the menu without justifying the actual cost. The portions are small and the dishes nothing special for the most part.

The staff is reasonably nice, and definitely not over the top, the place is sufficiently crowded most of the time with people seemingly from all walks of life. Anyone from families, diplomats , regulars to people enjoying watersports and folks enjoying the relative quiet can be found.

Amenities are clean and modern, as is the interiors. It is not a place I personally fancy or that instills a feeling of home, but one I'd recommend for a one-time visit on a sunny day.

Fantastic food and generous portions. Really lovely location as well. We didn't book and ended up in the tent which needed a bit of a clean but cannot fault the food or service.
