This is the place to stay if you are looking for good value for money and amazing starting point for cross country skiing. For a reasonable price (compared to other facilities in this location) you get quite a luxurious experience.
Advantages:
- excellent food (highly recommend to order halfboard, the food was far beyond our expectations)
- big and beautiful spa and saunaworld (outdoor heated pool, many saunas, indoor pool etc.)
- really nice and spacious rooms with balcony
- free parking available
- Achensee card included (no extra fees for cross country trails, no fees for regional buses)
- always super-friendly staff (special greetings to Marcella)
Disadvantages:
- really soft matresses (we are not used to it as we prefer hard ones, so we ended up with a little backache after first night)
- no heat-control in the room, which was quite overheated (this is a matter of personal preferences, but we are used to temperature approx. 20 C and the room was really hot for us, with no option to turn the heater off).
Overall we had an excellent stay and we wish to come back soon.response / report this review -

Wonderful wellness options! View from outdoor pool and our balcony was stunning! Would totally visit again for special occasions :)

Beautiful hotel & wellness spa.A lot of sauna place, lounge chair to relax & enjoy the typical Austrian ambience especially d infinity pool looking at the wonderful nature that surrounds you. A must to visit & check -in.❤❤

The room's shower had some drain problem (partly fixed DIY) and it smelled much that we had to keep the door close. The waiters were a bit late and the pool water quality been poor.
All meals quality were good, staff been polite and friendly and the interior (Old Vespa and radios) been interesting.response / report this review -

Eines unserer absoluten Lieblingshotels. Super Service, Hammer Küche (besonders beim Richi in der Michl Stubn). Sind mindestens zweimal im Jahr da, seit über 10 Jahren

Wir waren vor kurzem für 3 Nächte dort und eher enttäuscht.
Am Ankunftstag haben wir vor dem Abendessen festgestellt, dass kein warmes Wasser im Bad verfügbar war. Telefonisch war die erste Auskunft der Rezeption 'ja das kann sein, da Ihr Zimmer mit Pool/Sauna-Bereich zusammen hängt und dort evtl. gerade viel geduscht wird' - aha.. Es kam dann ein Herr, der die Haupthähne prüfte und dann im Keller die Heizung für warmes Wasser anmachte. Ab 21 Uhr hatten wir dann warmes Wasser, das erste Abendessen also ungeduscht, etwas unangenehm.
Bademantel und Schlappen mussten extra bezahlt werden mit der Begründung, dass wir über ein Reisebüro gebucht haben. Ich buche alle meine Reisen altmodisch immer beim selben Reisebüro und noch NIE wurde mir deswegen Bademäntel in einem 4 Sterne Hotel in Rechnung gestellt! (Worauf man aus Kulanz wegen dem Warmwasser-Problem auch verzichten hätte können).
Beim Frühstück (bis 10 Uhr) gab es um 9 Uhr leider das tägliche 'Special' nicht mehr, abends wurde ebenfalls 1 Stunde vor Ende manches einfach nicht mehr aufgefüllt, ebenso bei der Jause. Sehr schade, kenne ich aus anderen Hotels so auch nicht.
Frisches Obst im Saunabereich wäre angemessen oder zumindest ein vollständig befüllter Getränkespender (an allen 3 Saunatagen war die eine von 2 Saftsorten dauerhaft leer).
Personal im Restaurant sehr nett, Saunabereich schön gestaltet. Pool leider etwas klein.

Hier passt wirklich alles Freundlichkeit
super Essen ganz großes Lob. Ich Fahre schon seit ca.12 Jahren hin. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Fine settimana romantico.
All insegna del relax nella spa appena ristrutturata,con attenzione ad ogni dettaglio. La cucina del hotel e squisita e ce molta attenzione anche ne presentare i piatti.camere accoglienti pulitissime e con vista sul lago. Consiglio questo hotel per chi ama la natura e poi rilassarsi in Spa e in fine farsi coccolare dalla buona cucina e degustare vini e formaggi.response / report this review -

Hat alles was man bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel sucht. Sehr nettes und stets hilfsbereites Personal und eine super und abwechslungsreiche Küche. Sehr schöne Sauna (3 Stück) mit Ruhebereichen. Pool, Wirlpool, SPA, Spielzimmer für Kinder und kleines Museum gehören zum Hotel. Loipeneinstieg direkt am Hotel Busshattel zu den Skiabfahrten Pertisau und Achenkirch.
