One of very few lit bar/club/karaoke place in whole Vienna. Many people from all over the world just come by to meet new people and just have some fun. As a traveler, it is great place to go and meet and hang out with some cool strangers.

I used to go there very often, but now it's become to popular and the people that they attract are annoying. The staff, is normaly very rude and like to take tips without asking. I give two stars because I had such great nights there, but now I would give just one.

Why? Why did I go there. If you're not a drunk teeny or a coked up old creep avoid by all means. (If those categories apply: hit it, you'll have a superb time!) One of the view areas in Vienna that are architecturally hideous af!

Whether you are traveling, doing a semester abroad or just living in Vienna, the Shack is always alive and has a party rolling. Crazy shots and special shots, really awesome happy hour deals and you get to meet locals and internationals travelling. I can only recommend it!!

New in town? This the place to visit as a traveller or new Viennese. A very international crowd and top rockish music. There is even a hidden karaoke corner. Can get a little crowded, but you are sure to have an awesome night an meet lots of people.

Really rude staff and the place was very unclean (yes even for a bar), I think most of the positive reviews are from those who were too drunk at the time of writing. When you're in Vienna there are much better places to checkout then this.

Tequilla tuesdays are the best. Always full of exchange students and a great place to meet new people. The selection of cocktails and drinks is amazing. Would totally recommend !

Usually pretty crowded, you can always meet new and interesting people though - also great for groups. Karaoke bar later at night, they also have Taylor Swift if you ask. There's a smoking room and a non-smoking room. The smoking room is usually better for talking, and it has a pool table (1€/game). There's also table soccer and some kind of photo thing. The non-smoking area has a dance floor and louder music, plus the bar. Most visitors are from abroad, usually exchange students or something, many really nice to talk to. Most speak English.
