traditional viennese 'gasthaus', original vienna kitchen, focused on meat dishes, nice garden under trees directly on waterfront Alte Donau, typical viennese friendly/grumpy service :-)

Great place to sit outdoors, with a view of a Danube arm, and very good Austrian dishes. Perhaps not so interesting if the weather does not allow to sit outside

Bourgeois kitchen and a really nice terrace with a view at the Alte Donau. Unfortunately, sometimes noisy (boats at the water), too few staff (kitchen and service) thus long wait. The food is good, though.

We always go here if we want to get good beer and some tasty food. There is also an ice saloon which provides delicious ice cream during the summer.
