Great hotel with two fantastic (naked) spa areas. The newer restricted to non travel agent guests or those that pay a supplement. Food is very good, especially 4/5 course evening meal. Ski lift to hartkaiser gondola is opposite hotel. Hotel has nice bar area with open fire but for a change there is a bar 100m away virtually next door with live music and dancing. Great ski area. Hotel and and village best for mature guests looking for relaxing already ski rather than young people looking for nightlife.

Lovely lounge area. We sat by the fireplace, it was very cosy. The staff was lovely. Cash payment was insisted. Not sure if they took credit card.

Beautiful big hotel, old feel with modern updates and comfortable spa/pool. I've never seen so many places to sit and eat in my life. Breakfast and dinner were part of our weekend package deal and we were never disappointed by options and variety of choices with Buffett style. Walking distance to all local restaurants and bars in Ellmau and 10 min bus shuttle from SkiWelt. Highly recommended.
