We had a wonderful tour with Panorama. After debating whether to "roll our own" tour, we decided to start our time in Salzburg with a guided tour, and it was worthwhile. Our tour guide, David, was first rate, and made our time interesting with lots of facts about the movie that were nicely interwoven with the bus' route.

One of their hop on hop off lady driver was rude and arrogant. They should learn how to behave with tourists and accompanying kids.

Average. The guide was fine and the small mini bus was modern and clean. The problem is that Salzburg is small with many traffic free areas, so driving around for an hour in a small van isn't that engaging. The views up to the mountains and the fortress are impressive, but you can see them from almost anywhere. I suspect the walking tours are better.

We took a bus tour of the City, the guide was very enthusiastic and showed us around town speaking fluent English. The City is amazing we will definitely be coming back!

EXCELLENT!!! My family and I loved the tour...our tour guide was fantastic as well as the driver of the bus (Nico I think).

If you love, or even like, The Sound of Music then you have to go on this tour...and these people will make it everything that it should be!

Ingrid of Panorama Tours helped create the most amazing destination wedding experience for us from 8,000 miles away. Her recommended venue, the Unterhofalm, was insanely beautiful. Every detail of the reception was perfect.
It was refreshingly simple to only need to communicate with one person to secure everything required for our wedding, down to transportation for us and our family to and from the town of Filzmoos. She even helped us figure out the paperwork required for U.S. citizens wanting to get married abroad!
This is definitely the low-stress way to go for planning a wedding abroad. Trust Ingrid, she will do an amazing job. I wholeheartedly recommend her and this company for your wedding experience.

Comfortable tour bus although if there are not enough people you may end up in a small minibus. Good guide, very witty.

I took a tour to the salt mine. This is a very professional and courteous. The driver that I had was named Walter. He was very informative on the ride up to the mine. He also likes to stop in some very beautiful spots for pictures.

I would recommend taking this tour with this company.

Went on the Bavarian Mountains and Salt Mines tour.
Excellent. The convenience of being ferried around, being able to get quickly into the mines, being driven around the beautiful mountains, having a good and very friendly English speaking Austrian tour guide and stopping off at a quaint little town for a Christmas market on the way back. It was all very well done. Would recommend.

    Top notch!

Great tour guide made all the difference. Our Sound of Music tour was 4 hours. We traveled to the house from the boat scene, the gazebo, the wedding scene church and the house from the scene where Maria first arrives. Lots of interesting facts about Salzburg and music from the movie.

Arrive at the bus stop on time. The tour is prompt and stays on schedule.

Amazing tours. Our tour guide - Helen - was top notch. Sound of Music came to life thanks to her efforts and the amazing Austrian scenery. Worth every penny.
