  A 5 star hotel. All the staff were very friendly, particularly the reception staff and the staff attending to the bedrooms. Excellent outside swimming pool, the water being of an excellent temperature. An extensive choice of food for breakfast and evening meal, although not everything to our taste at the evening meal.

  We spent five nights of our honeymoon at Boglerhof in December 2016 and would have spent more were they not fully booked for the Christmas holiday.
  
  The quality and value of the hotel is absolutely superb. Our Sonnjoch room had mountain vistas, a sparklingly clean contemporary bathroom and the bedroom was both refined and rustic. The entire hotel is a showcase of Alpine craftsmanship, rife with charm and comfort. The effect was amplified by the holiday season.
  
  We spent an hour or two in the sauna every day of our stay and it was the perfect respite after long, chilly hikes. They were my favorite part. The traditional Finnish dry sauna will test your limits, but you can cool off with a dunk in the icy waterfall nextdoor. There was also a lower temperature dry sauna inside, a seamist steam room that was cooler, and a hot and balmy turkish bath. In between stints in the sauna you can hang out on heated benches sipping water and fruit juice. Be advised that if you are not Austrian, you may be surprised to find out the sauna is generally co-ed and nude. There are towels you can strategically use to hide yourself, but you quickly learn that most people are pretty discreet and that nobody really minds. If my husband can get comfortable with it, anyone can!
  
  The food is another reason we look forward to coming back. Everything was absolutely top notch. We were half-board, which included a truly prodigious breakfast buffet and multiple course dinners in their restaurant. Each guest is assigned a table for the duration of their stay. Like the rest of the hotel, the restaurant was beautifully appointed and the essence of cozy. Worth every penny.
  
  I partook in a number of spa treatments (an exceptional value compared with what comparable services cost in the U.S.). The spa was excellent. The dry brushing was probably my favorite! If you are used to particularly deep massages you might be surprised by how gentle they are.
  
  I would not describe the service as friendy in a gregarious way, but they were a picture of professionalism throughout our stay. We really can't wait to go back!

  This hotel is wonderful and very good value for money! The only flaw that I can say is that I felt some of the staff in the Halla bar weren't friendly and it lacked the old atmosphere it used to have. But apart from that it was wonderful stay and an amazing town.

  Felt more like a 5 star hotel-- a lot of attention to detail and the staff were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

  Excellent hotel for young children wanting to learn how to ski and swim with wonderful ice cream. Happy children means happy holiday. Looking forward to our return.

  A really lovely hotel, with a good selection of spa facilities - 3 saunas and a steam bath, indoor/outdoor pool with built in jacuzzis, and good, spacious rooms with a balcony and en suite. Very friendly waitresses/staff, with events on each day (all included) such as wine tasting. There's also a gym, and the bus stop to the ski lifts are directly outside the hotel. We definitely will be returning given the chance

  The place is breathtaking! And it has one of the best position in Alpbach! it's just opposite to the church You'll fall in love with this place once you visit it!

  This is a wonderful hotel with absolute excellent service! We have stayed here for 5 years in a row, with a small boy. All three of us love it here. The atmosphere, friendly staff, great service. Special kids club and children's dinner. Nice swimming pool, superb dinners fir the parents. We are already looking forward to next year!

  A truly lovely experience. Whilst everything was amazing (the food, the rooms, the level of comfort, the food and wine), I would say that the thing that made the experience so positive was the excellent quality of the staff and the service they provided. They were incredibly pleasant, helpful and welcoming and this is what made our stay. Even from the outset, when I went to make a booking initially but the dates I wanted weren't available, they helpfully communicated other possible dates back to me and I was able to arrange my holiday to take advantage of this. They were the only hotel I contacted that made this effort. I would highly recommend staying here.
