The weather was great which helped as nothing worse than General Admission or uncovered stand if it's chucking it down all day. The atmosphere was great. You can see most of the track from here. It's a shame you can't get closer to the bull. Even though I was on coach trip so didn't get there till gone 11 there was still plenty of good view spots to choose from and I had plenty of space all round me to spread out. I am unsure on the prices on food and drink as bought my own as advised by the tour rep. which was great advise as I was a solo traveller so didn't have to keep asking strangers to look after my stuff. Though the few times I needed to the people around me were more than happy to do so. There are some nice cut outs in the fench for taking photo's which I think is a good idea, they must be great if you can get there early enough and have one for the race. I just used them for taking some nice track shots on way back to coach.
