Not child friendly at all. We wanted to go with our 3 year old toddler on the Wachau Wine Tour and when we called Pedal Power were discouraged to do so multiple times by the office staff. They did say that if we still wanted to do it, we could come by their office and so we did. But upon getting there they said they had no kid seats. We ended up doing the tour on our own and renting bikes locally at Krems and it ended up being a great trip, that covered everything in the same time.

did the vineyard tour in the summer. marla was an amazing guide. she made the whole trip very interesting and provide a lot of info. the tour itself was really amazing too, with the wine tasting and the actual visit to vineyards. the amount of cycling is just nice. the beach stop by the river was a big plus too!

The people here are wonderful. We rented two bikes and a bike trailer for our two children. The staff were extremely helpful, as we first asked for seats for the kids on the back of each bike, but after a discussion they suggested the kids would have a better time in a trailer, and they were correct. We had an amazing time riding through Prater park and to the Danube and all over Vienna. I would highly recommend PedalPower especially for people visiting with children.

The three hour bike ride was well worth it. Elizabeth gave a good overall narrative about Vienna, showed key landmarks and sites and really helped me feel comfortable about getting around myself. I recommend it, if you will be in Vienna for a few days.

I ended up in a wrong location for the meeting point to my fault. However, the way the whole situation was handled was quite poor. There was very little done to actually coordinate efforts to ensure that I would make at least part of the trip (in all fairness at that point I was going to miss some of the trip) but the whole case was quite easily dismissed. When I asked whether a refund was possible, I was laughed at. Whoever, was handling the case got angry at me for even daring to make such a proposal and I was listed all the reasons how this event was my fault. It sucks that I have to give such a low review to what could be an otherwise good business, but they really need to handle customers a little better. They were very friendly while selling the tickets, not so friendly following up

When traveling to a city, I usually book a bike tour early in my visit so that I can get a geographical feel for the city. That was the case with my visit to Vienna and booking with Pedal Power.

—Website had basic info; good directions.
—Seems you need to pay cash upon arrival; they take the cc just as a reservation.
—There was an orderly start to the tour.
—Our guide, Elizabeth, was knowledgable and mostly attentive.
—A lot of stop and go in the beginning, but the ride along the Danube Canal and to the park was very nice; a bit more of that would have been nice. Actually, a coffee stop in the park would have been ideal which could work along w/the bathroom stop in the park.

Best bike shop we've come across since riding from Amsterdam. Great service, friendly staff and fair prices. They lent us a guide book to look at for the next leg of our journey and had my bike fixed and out the door within 20 mins. Thanks guys.
