  Great ambience with fantastic views. Especially the sunset is a real highlight here.
  The food tastes great and there is a wide selection of food and drinks. Only the waiters sometimes take a little too much time.

  The worse experience in Austria we've ever had.
  Very bad and rude waiters.
  The most expensive place at this place and coffe was really bad.
  We've also got small sandwich with tomatoes under decay and when we asked for replacement they regreted. In addition when we paid we haven't tip them the waiters started to yelling an us so we've immediately left this place.

  Possibly the greatest noise polluter in Neusiedl am See, pumping out totally awful and crappy techno music, with an incessant thump! thump! thump! that bespeaks the awful repetitiveness that techno music is.
  
  It is a complete wonder for me that those who try to enjoy the lovely swimming area of Neusiedl am See don't simply try to tear each other limb by limb out of sheer frustration and irritation as a result of the horrible effect of 'Mole West.'
  
  I guess perhaps the food is good, albeit over-priced (I don't know because I will never eat there) but how could anyone properly digest anything there?!
  
  Whilst I was at Neusiedl am See, Mole West's idiotic music thumped for the whole day, without anyone turning it down, or indeed changing the tune.
  
  What an awful contribution Mole West makes
  to the environment of an otherwise beautiful place (I don't even want to give the 'restaurant' one star).

  Café Del Mar! Get a table near the glass facing SW for a long and glorious sunset. Excellent, creative seasonal menus highlighting local produce and of course superlative local wines with all the staff helpful to sommelier standards. Highly recommended and a great evening out destination from Vienna (train and short cab ride).
  
  PS: for the more parsimonious reviewers below, please note prices are market standard for that quality fayre. You wouldn't produce those feasts at home for less. Try getting out more!

  I have always a very good experience with people and on what Burgenland is.
  
  Unfortunatly I was today with family and just asking if a place was free, if we should reserve or if there is a wating list, to our surprise the waiter answer stressed and unfriendly: its about luck, you must wait and search until something is free! We were about to share a table and the waiters were even more unfriendly. So we left to a some other confortable, friendly place in Frauenkirche.
  
  Even if the view is beautiful, IS NOT WORTHY to wait, to receive a bad service and after all Pay and unfair price for such awfull service!!
  
  I wont rest until I give my opinion to all tourist advisor on Neusiedl am See and warn to all people of an overrated place!

  We go to Mole at least once per month ( in summer 3 to 4 times). The staff is very friendly and they try to fulfil every wish the client has. The view is wonderful and the food is the best you can find on the lake and better than many top 5 stars hotels. The choice of food is very big that anyone can find something that he likes.
  Also wir sind sehr zufrieden (wie immer) :)
