Spent the night in the lovely rooms and ate an amazing meal here.
Michelin rated restaurant, and rightly so. Great food, amazing staff, close to 4 hour dinner and I loved every minute of it. It was worth every penny for both the stay and the food. Thank you Taubenkobel!

Mixed feelings. You can only have the set menu. Some dishes had an amazing taste others impossible to describe. We liked 3 out of 7 dishes. The sweet dessert were not included in the menu. It cost us for two almost 500 euros with one bottle of wine, but no pairing wine (pairing was 85 euros each, the bottle of great wine was 75, but for the quality was very good wine). Overall disappointing, but recognising some amazing tastes as well.

Das Gute liegt so nah in diesem Fall wohl eher: das Beste liegt so nah. Ohne Frage reiht sich der Taubenkobel ganz vorne unter meinen persönlichen Top-Lieblingsrestaurants (weltweit). Die Symbiose aus kulinarischer Leidenschaft, regionaler Zutaten und Tradition in diesem einzigartigen Ambiente lässt mich bei jedem Besuch erneut staunen. Auch wenn der Taubenkobel quasi um's Eck liegt (stolz drauf), bin ich trotzdem bei jedem Besuch aufgeregt-neugierig, was uns wohl diesmal wieder faszinieren wird. Ganz gleich, ob nun dieses weiße, aufgeblasene Reifen-Männchen mit mir d'accord geht: ich bin überzeugt!

Many people come here with the highest expectations and it really is something extraordinaire. Food and drinks come in the highest quality possible which makes every bit melt your taste buds. I promise. There is a option to stay and I would also recommend it. The hotel and surrounding area have a calm to it that should bring peace of mind, relax or even happiness. An experience like no other.

Note: better call at least a month in advance.

Taubenkobel is a symbol of elegance and class and is one of the venues our town is proud of! I met great people there among the staff, apparently the excellent level of service shows in each aspect.
