Fantastic location, good beer, cool ambience

We ate lunch here while biking from Melk to Krems. It was very fresh and tasty. My husband ordered an apricot tiramisu that was to die for. They also have free wifi, which is nice. The terrace has a lovely view of the river. I highly recommend a stop here.

Recommend for you don't booking room here if don't want bad experience in holiday. We talked about negative experience with this hotel to some local people who are living in same area of hotel they have heard often from customers complained same things like us too. (We checked in end of July 2017)
Actually this hotel shouldn't get any star from me.
Price compare room are too expensive we get the room at house area is too tiny, the mattress to old and soft when lying on my back get curve.
No internet connection in the room close to pool side and very bad connect in the room house side.
Service i give -20 from 10 points for 4 person stuff, start from house keeper, reception, waitress
No ring that we could bell, no one stand by at reception, on one open the door we couldn't reach them we knocked the doors the windows at 7:30 a.m. until 7:55 a.m. i saw a woman in restaurant i think she heard our knock but don't open the door. Very difficult to reach someone for check out paid money and give the key back. I wonder if hotel get fire might be all guest will die!!!

The restaurant was very nice with good food and nicely dressed female waiters (traditional costumes). The rooms seem to vary The two rooms that my family inhabited had lots of bugs in them. Mostly spiders and stuff. Other than that they looked nice and comfortable.
If you were to ask my parents this is where the problems stop. But not for me or my brother At bedtime we found bugs crawling in his bed, which I have come to suspect are bedbugs or lice (little black things, 2mm long), so in lack of a better solution he had to sleep in my single bed with me, which led to me not getting a moments worth of sleep!
Overall varying levels of satisfaction, the restaurant is highly recommended, but the rooms require a thorough inspection before you rent one.
PS. The showers have like 10 beams that hurt when you try to get some pressure to rinse out the shampoo, plus that the temperature of the water varies from +70°C to like - 5°C (slight exaggeration, more like 40 to 15 degrees) without me even touching the tap.
The reason for the lack of photos is the half vegetative state that I was in when we discovered them at 2 a.m (so I forgot to document it) and the fact that they were gone with just feces left behind in the morning.response / report this review -

It's so goof to sit on the pateo.
Located directly on the highway.
Whenever we have been here, we enjoyed good local food and drinks.
Friendly staff.

Teuer und die Gegenleistung hat für mich nicht gepasst. 200 Euro für ein Doppelzimmer mit 2 Zusatzbetten für 2 Kinder für eine Nacht. Die Dusche war teilweise defekt und die ganze Anmutung des Zimmers und des Hauses hätte eher 40,- Euro pro Nacht entsprochen.
