  Simple and cheap solution. You have to walk 15 minutes to the nearest bus station. Very helpful staff.

  Tolles Hotel
  Eine Buss Linie ist 200 m vom Hotel entfernt mit der kommt man ohne Probleme in die Innenstadt von Graz .

  pluses: cleanliness, quietly behaving guests (mostly mid-age), reception open all night and with friendly receptionists, good access from highway, good public transport to the old town, adequate size of rooms, easy access for the car (large parking area)
  
  minuses: car noise from nearby street (not extreme though), no air conditioning (apart from the breakfast room), no locks in bathrooms/toilets in rooms, the breakfast somehow poorer than expected
