Top notch service in this incredible structure which mixes new and old seamlessly. My room was set out beautifully but you need to remember we are in some kind of a fort and it was a little bunker-like. Only external influence was from the skylight high in the roof.
I really enjoyed the stay and will come again next time I'm in town.

Where do I start? There are so much positive things to express! First of all the location. The restaurant is located in an old medieval castle which was totally renovated and modernize without losing the historical charm. I ordered the six course menu with quinoa salad, soup, fish, lamb and desert. Every dish was refined with a very high focus on the details and also tasted excelent. The prices are on the higher end of the region but everything was worth every cent. The only negative point was the delay between courses, but if the quality is so impressive, it's no issue. If you want to enjoy fine dining, the restaurant in Schloss Gabelhofen is the first choice in the Murtal region of east styria.

Ich war über eine Einladung Ostern 2014 in Schloss Gabelhofen. Sehr freundliches Personal, Super Frühstück und zu empfehlende Küche. Sauna alles Toll. Ich werde wieder kommen und das Hotel weiter empfehlen.

Unser Kurzurlaub im Schloss Gabelhofen geht morgen leider zu Ende. Wir haben die 3 Tage hier sehr genossen und werden sicher wieder kommen. Personal Top, Essen Weltklasse. Und die Anreise aus Wien echt einfach und recht schnell erreichbar. Auch die Entfernung zum Red Bull Ring ist nur 10 km. Die Therme Aqualux liegt gleich hinter dem Schloss und bietet eine traumhafte Saunalandschaft. Wir kommen wieder.
