Not as grand as the name!

It is a great location right on the shore of lake Zell. Breakfast has many varieties while dinner is offered through 3 different set menus with 5 course . The new rooms are very well furnished and use the highest technology; the old building can use a bit o renovation. Overall it is a great experience

Location is top. Hotel decoration was the worse seen for a 4 star hotel that has an excellent location. I can't believe no 1 thought of buying this hotel and renovating it since it has by far the best location ever.
The building outside looks good. But inside is really terrible and outdated.report this review -

the hotel is great but there lots of issues,
1-we were 2 adults and 1 child they let us pay for the child a big amount of money for the extra bed.
2-the phone in the room was broken we informed about it since arrival till check out it was not fixed.
3-the food and the view was great.
4-the wifi coverage was bad.
5-the location is the best location in hole zell am see.
My 2nd time in this hotel we face the same issue with the price..
The food was great ..the place was the same..
The parking was 10€ per night..it was free before 2 years..
The reservation web site of the hotel is not good it's better if they fix it.report this review -

Good location on the lake with great view. Breakfast is acceptable but we didn't like the dinner. Parking is 10 € / night. No iron and no water heater. The toilet is too small. If you open room window you should expect a lot of insects to get in. You should get used to the sounds of train and church.

It's a nice hotel with history and a beautiful view. If you want to have a great place to enjoy the lovely bathing possibilities in Zell am See, this is a good place to visit and have a stay. When it comes to food it's okay but not a wow experience. It's a place for having some days of and relaxing. And the surrounding mountains are well worth the stay.

great location , but service and quality is lower than is supposed to be for 4s star hotel. sauna is horrible , the only good wellness is grand spa, which has to be paid extra

The best hotel in location at zell am see. The issue is the hotel doesn't have air conditioning in the room. The view is more than great. The restaurant are wonderful and the food was excellent and impressive. The rooms furniture is old and needs to be replaced. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Nice staff and beautiful scenery! The dinner choice is awful! The check in time is 3:00 PM onwards, however the check out is 10:30 AM!!! When we asked the check out time should be at least 12:00 PM they said this is a norm in Europe! which is not the case. Most hotels check out in Europe is 12:00 PM onwards. Other than caring and good staff and nice scenery nothing special with this hotel considering the hotel rate is too high for no reason. I give 3 star to this hotel. It is not even close to 4 star!!!
