Very nice place, nice rooms, great food. Personnel is really kind. We were there only for business not for pleasure unfortunately :(. And it rained all day. But enjoyed anyway. Recommended! It must be great on sunny day playing golf or enjoying nature or both.

Really nice rooms and pleasant surroundings. The breakfast was really good and plenty of options for dinner in the restaurant in the evening. We stayed for four nights while going to the F1 at the Red Bull Ring - the drive was about an hour and very convenient.

There was no air conditioning in the room but there was a fan. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and a TV that got the BBC news 24 (only English Channel) - there was a surround sound system though.

It was hard to sit outside without cigarette smoke waft across you but this seems to happen everywhere in Austria and the staff were really helpful and accomodating

Golfhotel Murhof: klein, fein (der Golfplatz ist privat, das Hotel aber nicht), gutes (und preiswertes) Essen und viel zum Fressen (großes Menü), Das Golfhotel Murhof ist ein interessanter Ort, vor allem weil er im alten Style gebaut wurde und weil er in ein privater Golfplatz situiert ist. Für Geschäftsreisen ist die Facilität auch nutzlich, nicht nur zum Übernachten, sondern auch zum Zusammentreffen und Reden. Der Ort ist auch so still, man könnte sagen es ist beim Golfhotel Murhof idyllisch.

Der Platz hat Tradition, und ist von der Infrastruktur (Restaurant, Hotel, Sekretariat) auch super.
Ebenso ist der Pflegezustand des Platzes toll, die Grüns sind alle top, und auch sehr herausfordernd!

Allerdings ist der Platz wenig abwechslungsreich, die Bahnen gleichen sich sehr schnell, weil zu wenig modelliert, zu wenig spannende Doglegs, und auch der große Teich fast gar nicht ausgenützt, sondern meistens nur sehr fern tangiert wird.

In England wäre das ein ganz durchschnittlicher Parkland Kurs, in Österreich ist der Platz in dieser Kategorie mangels Alternativen ganz vorne dabei.
