  Okay food. The Zwiebelrostbraten was really nice, but nothing else was that great. The wine was good. OK Beer. The waiter was really unpleasant and we couldn't get any service. When we managed to get him to look at us, it was because we were near the kitchen door and he was coming with a huge pile of dishes. Now, admittedly, I wouldn't expect him to come to the table immediately, but I just wanted him to know that he should come visit out table within the next few minutes since we were all sitting with dirty plates and empty glasses for more than a half hour. Anyway, rather than just nod and say "Augenblick, bitte!" or anything reasonable, he stopped in his tracks, turned to us, and said "you never flag down a waiter with a full tray!" and the proceeded to lecture us. When we told him we were simply trying to get a little bit of attention from him when he was on his way back, he argued with us. Basically, he is a terrible waiter and a terrible person. A little while later, another table of guests started yelling at us because we, a party of 10, were being too loud. In short, it was a terrible experience. Customers are rude. Waiters are rude. Avoid.

  probably the most unfriendly staff you could find in a Viennese restaurant. only go there if you really want to have a bad day, waiters are treating guests with a horrible attitude. I can't believe the reviews of people calling the waiters friendly. Probably some of them only work on particular week days. Either way it is not worth the risk to ever go back to that place. The staff seems to believe their restaurant is one of the best places in town and only if they like your face they treat you well Don't even dare going there without a table reservation unless you like hearing even more unfriendly comments from waiters. Literally every other restaurant in Vienna is a better place to hang out and have good food!
  
  Habe echt selten unhöflicheres Personal erlebt und mich auch noch kaum in einem Gasthaus unerwünschter gefühlt. Grantige Wiener Kellner in Ehren, aber das Hansy ist eine eigene Kategorie. Aber wenn man dem Personal glauben darf muss man sich ohnehin geehrt fühlen, überhaupt eintreten zu dürfen, v.a. wenn man nicht reserviert hat. Der Standort wird wohl weiterhin für Umsatz sorgen, auch wenn die Gastfreundschaft fehlt.

  A homely restaurant serving great local dishes! Service is ok and the waiters are friendly. Schnitzel(not sure if I spell correctly) is very well made. Comes in big portion too!

  A typical restaurant in Vienna with good traditional food and Budweiser tap beer. Food is usually served very fast and quality is very good. During summer it's possible to sit outside.

  The food is good but the Non smoking room feels like punishment. The room is so ugly!!
