Hotel Hinteregger

I’m reviewing the 4-star hotel called Hinteregger in Katschberg. The town itself is located in Lungau. The hotel has the best ratings in all of Katschberg. I'll be reviewing the hotel's restaurant. The facilities it has and the location.

The hotel restaurant has nice food. The kitchen staff in the restaurant is very dedicated to make every week a different menu. Most of the time it will be nice Austrian dishes but, they always spice some stuff up with dishes that can only be served during a certain period. During Christmas and new year days the restaurant always have a special menu that gives even more Christmas feeling. The restaurant has nice decorations and wonderful tables together with chairs and couches.

The facilities they have are amazing. The hotel has multiple swimming pools, hot tubs and sauna rooms. The swimming pools are all heated even those that are outside. The sauna rooms are located together with the swimming pools and you can even get a tan on the sunbeds they have prepared for you. They also have a fitness room where you can work-out and a play room which perfect for the kids. The playroom consists of a tennis table, some small castle buildings to play in and lots of other stuff for children up to age of 12.

The hotel is well located. The hotel is only 5 minutes of the ski run because it’s so high up in the mountains. It’s the perfect location for parents with kids. They can let the kids go ski and still have some great time of their own. The hotel is in the center of the small town which makes it a perfect location to walk around as well. The town has some nice old pitoresk buildings. It’s not a city for university students because there isn’t a lot to do outside of skiing and sightseeing. The town itself has a nice cultural background dating back from early 1700. During winter holidays they tend to have a nice twist to the town where everyone comes together and celebrate

You can say that this hotel is perfect for a family with young kids between the age of 6-12. The parents will love the place having a nice dinner and relaxing at the pools. They will also get to see a lot of culture from outside the hotel in the small village, while the kids can have a great time playing with each other and with the other kids that are running around in the hotel.

Ich habe ein Wochenende dort verbracht und habe es sehr genossen. Das Personal war außerordentlich nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer in der kleinsten Kategorie sind etwas klein, aber gut ausgestattet. Nutzt man das reichhaltige Freizeitangebot ist man so oder so kaum im Zimmer. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr geräumig. Besonders der Ruhebereich mit Wasserbetten hat mir gefallen.

Mooi familiehotel op een prachtige plek boven op de berg in een skidorp. In de zomer is het daar ook zeker goed toeven. Zorg wel dat je de kärnten card bemachtigt bij het toerismebureau. De katschberg card die je van het hotel krijgt, heeft te weinig uitjes in de omgeving. Geef het geld uit en doe er je voordeel mee!

Verder waren de kamers ok, sommige appartementen via vrijuit doen niet aan als appartement, en onze oorspronkelijke kamer was echt treurig. Wij mochten wel kosteloos ruilen met twee tweepersoonskamers met tussendeur. Deze kamers waren wel goed!

Het eten was echt heel goed! Kindergerechten waren echt heel voedzaam en gezond en toch nog lekker voor kinderen. Gerechten voor volwassenen waren echt heel mooi vormgegeven en altijd van goede kwaliteit. De bediening was aardig, al hebben we wel getimed dat er elke 30 seconden iemand langskwam. Verder pakken ze veel te snel je bord af.

Maar al met al was het een mooi hotel op een goede locatie!

Das ist kein Familienhotel, es ist ein alte-Leute Hotel. Im Speisesaal wird nicht gelüftet. Die Essens Auswahl am Buffet ist lächerlich. Und das was man an Essbarem findet ist ungesund.

Sehr gut geführtes, familiäres Hotel das auch und gerade für Kinder viel bietet.
Gutes Essen. Zimmer etwas klein und mit Teppichböden ausgestattet. Keine Minibar.

Ich bin mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Habe heuer eine Woche dort verbracht. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich weiß schon jetzt: ich komme wieder! !!!!
