Super Lage direkt an der Talabfahrt. Umfangreiche Kinderbetreuung. Tägliche Fahrten mit dem Gletscherwurm (umgebauter Trecker mit Anhängern). Großzügige Sonnenterrasse und Außenanlage mit Spielplatz. Kleiner aber sehr schöner Saunabereich. Freundliches Personal, netter Umgang mit Kindern.

Für Familien mit Kindern (bei uns 1 und 4) auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen!
Top Betreuung der Kleinen und Kleinsten, sehr nette Inhaberfamilie und genauso nettes Personal, perfekte Lage, spitzenmäßige Küche, saubere, ordentliche und moderne Zimmer mit gutem Grundriss.
Nicht spießig und gleichzeitig stillvoll.
Die Kinderskischule ist vom Zimmer aus zu beobachten, die Talabfahrt führt bis zum Skikeller, der Weg zur Gondel ist selbst in Skistiefeln in 5 Minuten zu bewältigen.response / report this review -

The local glacier offers snow all year round, and as such, it's possible to ski even during the summer months. I visited this hotel in late May for exactly this purpose - some skiing at the top of the glacier, followed by warm late-afternoon hikes in the valley (around the hotel).
My room, and the hotel itself, is following the same wooden style as virtually every building in this area. My room was very spacious (it was a double room, even though I was staying alone) and featured basically everything I'd need. There was also a balcony and great view of the mountains.
The staff was always very friendly and accommodating.
There is no swimming pool in this hotel, but there is sauna (several types, actually - hot, not-so-hot, and humid) as well as a relaxation area. The offered ski storage was adequate. While old and dated, it still offered everything one would need, including easy access outside.
Free internet (over Wi-Fi) was offered. However, this was very slow, with download staying in the 256 kb/s range - fine for checking e-mails and instant messengers, but making YouTube virtually unusable.
The stay was only possible with full-board (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Breakfast and lunch were buffets, while the dinner was a salad buffet plus (soup, dessert and) main meal to be chosen from a menu, featuring three options. The third option was sometimes referred to as "vegetarian", but during my stay there, the third choice was always fish (so not vegetarian at all). When asked about non-meat main dish options, I was offered to choose from the full restaurant menu. This menu featured a section called "vegetarian" which was composed of three options: pasta (spätzle) with cheese, pasta (penne) with chilli and mascarpone, and fish (again - not vegetarian). The other dishes were often rather heavy (e.g. veal liver). But the salad bar had enough options to still enjoy a good dinner, despite them not understanding the concept of "vegetarian".
Free outside parking was available right in front of the hotel.
Overall the hotel location was very good: walking distance to the main cable car, and right next to the "baby lift" training slope.response / report this review -

We stayed with our 3 little children in this Family hotel And it is a superb family hotel. Location, food, friendliness, service is all top.
The children care with organised walks is also great.
