Sehr gemütliches und mit wirklich sehr viel Liebe geführtes Hotel. Die Zimmer (jedenfalls unseres) sind alt in der Ausstattung haben aber Charme, so wie das ganze Hotel! Das Personal und die beiden Hoteliers sind sehr freundlich !!keine aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit!! und haben immer ein offenes Ohr für Fragen und geben gerne Tipps für Bad Gastein und Umgebung. Man hat einfach das Gefühl willkommen zu sein.
Das Essen ist sehr gut; gehobene Küche; jedoch auch nicht billig, zumindest für die Getränke könnten die Preise etwas moderater sein. Sonst sehr gerne wieder; man fühlt sich wohl. Ach und Hunde sind auch willkommen!response / report this review -

Die schönste Bar, die man sich vorstellen kann - ich hätte diese gerne auch in München! Olaf und Jason führen das Hotel, das Restaurant und die Bar mit sehr viel Liebe und Engagement. Ein absoluter Gewinn für Bad Gastein und ein Muß für jeden Gasteinbesucher.

Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, das Personal ausnahmslos herzlich, aber nicht in dieser aufgesetzten Service- Herzlichkeit, sondern authentisch. Es herrscht hier eine so entspannte, familiäre Atmosphäre und das doch auf hohem Niveau, dass man sofort wiederkommen will. Die Küche ist exquisit, ebenso die Bar.
Und die verwendeten Produkte sind regional und weitgehend aus biologischer Landwirtschaft,
Allein das besondere Engagement, mit dem sich die Hotelleitung vom Regina um den Ort Bad Gastein, dieses einzigartige Alpenjuwel aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, bemüht, verdiene schon, genau hier abzusteigen, wenn es nicht so viele andere Gründe gäbe.
Ein Tipp: Unbedingt mal das hoteleigene Kino besuchen. Sein nostalgischer Charme und die geschmackvolle Filmauswahl machen einen Schlechtwettertag zu einem Fest.response / report this review -

A Pretty Place That Resonates Beauty and Comfort!
This place is such a gem! I travel for a living - with musicians, and artists and for well known travel guides, and was recommended to stay at the REGINA by various friends from within the Berlin artist community.
Upon check-in you realize that the people running this little boutique hotel stand very much behind the idea of "DO WHAT YOU LOVE", as every detail from breakfast variety, to music played, to the cozy seating design, to bed linen, to wallpaper, to DVD selection, to magazines are so well thought through and so well curated. A sweet mix of vintage and modern!
Dinner was outstanding! So were some of the longer nights at the bar ;)
There is a sweet little movie theatre with 10 seats or so. They played "Grand Budapest Hotel" - which is just the perfect movie for the incredible fairytale town of Bad Gastein. I have so fallen in love with this town, its inspiring vibe and scene and I wish Olaf and Jason all the best and for their little hotel to prosper!response / report this review -

Very friendly staff, good restaurant, great bar. Old fashioned style of the hotel, it was build in 1906, but well taken care of.

The Hotel "Das Regina" is a boutique hotel in the centre of Bad Gastein, just a 2-minute walk away from the casino and the waterfall.
"Das Regina" offers individually designed rooms &
most rooms have a balcony or a terrace and offer panoramic views of the nearby mountains. The food is outstanding and the hotel very has a small cinema.
