Ride ID 25401. No one showed up, no one answered the telephone of the cool cab. Had to look for another taxi at 4-45 in the morning

The taxi I ordered to get to the airport didn't come at all! Can you imagine the stress when you have to catch your flight but your taxi isn't coming?! Yeah, nobody wants that.

Warning of CoolCab: they try to charge higher prices!
The pre-ordered taxi arrived in time at my appartement in Vienna. It was 4:30 am and public transport was no option. As soon as I sat in the car, I received a call by someone from CoolCab, telling me that I had to pay 28 Euro instead of 25 Euro. I refused and pointed to the email confirmation of a fixed price. Only after threatening to report the company to the police right away, the man on the phone backed down and agreed on the 25 Euro.
The rest of the drive passed without problems. I am not sure if the driver had a say in any of it, his German seems to be quite patchy. Clearly CoolCab, or at least someone from that company, tried to use the early-morning-close flight time-situation to charge a higher price.response / report this review -

Don't trust them. Ordered a ride to the airport at 3 am. No one showed up. No answer on the phone.
They can say we gave the wrong address, but that's not the truth.
They confirm rides and then don't show up. BEWARE,response / report this review
