We don't usually like staying at campsites but this one was really special. We had a few days of rain at Zell and Ziller and wanted to hunker down with electricity so we picked this out of our ACSI book. The couple who run it could not be more welcoming and friendly and helpful - they are always smiling and quick to make a joke. Any question we had they were quick to answer and solve. They gave us a pack full of information on arrival and even a little bottle of homemade schnapps! Surrounded by mountain scenery and only a 5 min walk into town its pretty and convenient. You can walk the 7k into Mayrhofen along the river. They also have a restaurant and an indoor swimming pool although we didn't try the former. Has fantastic, clean new toilet and shower block with laundry and washing up area. WiFi worked well in our pitch and they have hard standing ones in case it gets rainy and muddy - which it did! You can also get fresh pizza there. I'd definitely recommend it.

Nice camping. We were very well received with an enveloppe, very useful, containing all the infos about the town and the region. Everything was very clean. Only downside the camping was quite noisy.

Relaxed friendly environment and stunning views. With top class facilities and in close proximity to local resorts and ski slopes. Guntrum, Sylvia and their team made us feel very welcome and we would recommend Camping Hofer to anyone.

Camping muy agradable, en un enclave maravilloso.
Atendido por sus dueños, cuenta además con Hotel propio.
