Camping place is fine to spend the night as you are visiting Vienna. Sanitary is clean and modern. Camping places are big enough. We put our tent in a caravan space, as there was a big group of kids on the tent spot. Good service. Public transport to Vienna centre will take you about an hour.
When you arrive, they let you choose the place to park. Nice people at the recepion- help desk. A lot of green and quiet space. Small grocery store. Food service inside (wienerschniztel mit pommes, pizza) until 10-11pm Electricity and internet available. Well connected to the city with multiples bus each hour. The negative side: very old and small toilettes, they are not compfy and not at all clean, it's kinda like an horror movie! Too expensive, but quiet, great position, in nature.
Site is great for the price asked. Washrooms are not like home but regularly serviced. August 2017
Stop for one night with bicycles. À little noisy because close to the freeway. Other than that good service, restaurant and shop. Not much choice on the bike trail anyway
It's a simple, basic city camping. Noisy road passing right by it. But it has everything you need and it's just outside the city center. No real flaws, just basic. There is no electricity when you go by tent.
Inmitten von Grün, abgelegen und doch in Wien - eine tolle Möglichkeit für alle, die Entspannung suchen oder/und auch die vielen Möglichkeiten der Großstadt genießen wollen.
Very convenient & accessible for visiting this beautiful city with v good value Vienna Card, as bus stop by gates, goes to Ubahn. Tent area a bit run down compared to caravan / campervan area, but apparently cleaning lady off sick. Small shop & restaurant
The really worst camping I have ever been
Bad smell all over the site, until I saw that it was dirty water emerging in the middle of my pitch, coming from the wc's. I claimed and moved to another pitch, but the next day I saw another guest really atonished since he had camped int the same place and they didn't advise him. Finally I left the camping, but I had already lost a ot of time with this really bad experience.
If this is so, you can imagine the rest of installations: showers, small parcels, not kind attention (they even gave the same pith to another man!)
I`´d rather camp in Dundee with both hands tied behind my back than be here for an hour.
Worst campsite I`´ve ever visited. Campsite stunk of manure as it is situated next to a portaloo storage facility. First day I went to have a shower and was greeted by a large, brown poo floating by. Lastly, the girls at reception are really butch.
