We weren't really happy with the management on this camping. We asked for a pitch with some shade because we had a tent and the owner just simply said "No". They didn't really think proactively with us. Trust me, camping out with a tent in the full sun isn't fun. The owner didn't even ask us how our stay was when we checked out and didn't apologize when he accused us falsely of having the wrong reservation number. We would rather pay a bit more for another accommodation than coming back here.

Perfect location for cycling into Salzburg. Very clean facilities. Great restaurant. Very popular with motorhomers. So pitches on the small side and mostly gravel. Easy access from motorway but constant drone of traffic. Not cheap.

Very rude staff. We have a motorhome with car on trailer. We were made to take the car off the trailer because apparently we were blocking the grey waste deposit, even though we were on the gravel and not blocking the road at all and genuinely lots of space. When we asked could we please leave the car hooked up because we weren't blocking anyone, the man said "have you stayed on a campsite before?". Then they let a car park between us and the grey water on the first and third nights we were there, and a car and caravan directly on top of the grey waste the second night?!?! At €52 we thought it was very expensive. There is a small restaurant and shop contained within the reception and toilets/showers and that's about it so only reason for premium price is the location.

Location is great, just a few minutes cycle from the train station. Prices are on the high side, but facilities are clean and modern. The hosts can be a bit short and are not super friendly.

The owners are rude, they make people move tents and caravans a meter to the side while they are already standing to squeeze in another tent or camper. Even in the rain. It was very crowded. I did not have the impression that the toilets were cleaned often. No intention to return. Only reason to stay is that it was close to Salzburg and on the Mozart cycling route.

I lived at this place in 1967 as a child when it was a cow farm prior to it becoming a caravan park. Great memories of the current owner Hans his brother and his parents. Went back 2011 for a short while and brought great memories. Wonderful place wondering hospitality. Melbourne Australia

Excellent amenities. Friendly people went out of their way to help us. Good access to the city. Have motorhomed through Germany, Austria, Greece and Italy for 4 months and this is one of the best value encountered.

The toilet block was excellent and the view was wonderful but those are the only positives about this site.
When we arrived we were greeted, if you can call it that, by a very grumpy lady. I am it sure if she was the owner.
We were then barked at by the rudest person I have ever come across who told us our unit was too big for his site. We told him we had booked and had told him the length of our unit. He basically told us we were liars in front of a shop full of other guests. They were all shocked at the way he had spoken to us.
He then found us a space!
There was no apology and no explanation for his disgraceful behaviour.
The road and train noise here was terrible.
If you are looking for a quiet friendly site then do not stay here.
It spoiled our Salzburg experience 😒

Beautiful location with a beautiful view during the evenings. A bit far away from central station if you have lots of packing, however the busses goes frequently. Shower had no warm water in the evening. Electricity seemed to come from solar power which is a great green initiative, but we had no power in the morning.

This campground is my all time favorite. The family that runs it is awesome. The facilities are top notch. And access to the city is great. Hans goes out of his way to make sure you are taken care of and will help with all matters of problems.
