Rude waiters, lack of respect to the guests, they don't give you exact amount back, paid with 20 euros note for a bill of 16, got 1 euro back without approval. Well, as it is said in the movie,Home Alone: "keep the change you filthy animal!"

Great quality, but quite crowded with tourists. The view is not visible from all tables, but if you pick the right spot you can marvel at the city from afar.

We were tempted to visit this cafe because of the stunning setting. However, I will advise anyone visiting Vienna not to come here. We've had wonderful coffees and service everywhere else in Vienna, but here the coffee was awful and overpriced, and the waiter just plain rude!

Cafe Gloriette is an amazing place, with great views. However the food is over priced, and the staff is absolutely horrible. The male is server is extremely rude.

Pretty overpriced but overall we enjoyed our cakes and iced coffees. Quick serving and funny waiter!

We visited the palace and beautiful gardens. We were let down at this cafe by a rude, arrogant male staff member at the entrance. He was unfriendly, and had extremely poor customer service skills. We initially wanted to go in and see what was on offer, but first we wanted to get an ice-cream each, but he made a big deal out of them having to be takeaway, which he'd done also to the people in front of us. While serving us though he let numerous other people just wander into the cafe without even speaking to them. No idea what his problem was but we ended up eating elsewhere after our palace visit.

If this place gets a competent, friendly staff member at the entrance it may be worth visiting, albeit at inflated prices (going by our ice-cream prices and other reviews). A disappointing experience during an otherwise great visit.

Very nice surroundings but the food is consistently bad, the staff very unprofessional and the prices way too high. Not recommended at all.

Nah! Wonderful place with a beautiful view but service was very slow and sandwiches were not so big as shown over the menu.

The must have for all Vienna tourists with a sweet tooth! The Mohr im Hemd (warm chocolate nut cake with chocolate sauce and whipped cream on top) and/or the Apple Strudel with Vanillesauce! Fantastic dessert in a historical scenery. The view to the Castle Schönbrunn is included!

Great view, but the food was merely OK. The chocolate milkshake was room temperature chocolate milk.
