The cafe was very fancy, which I am sure is what helped influence the quite high prices. We also had to wait quite a while to be presented with a menu, although all the tables around us received theirs promptly. The food wasn't really deserving of the price, however it was nice being served by well dressed waiters and eating to the sounds of live piano.

The apple strudel with vanilla is amazing! Egg Benedict is also one of the best I’ve tried. But the hazelnut cake is overly sweet for me. Service is just okay but I will certainly come back for its food!

Old World charm. A time passed. Like roses in full bloom that are no longer looking forward. Beautiful and poignant at the same time. A place to people watch. I wish that I could still smoke a cigarette with my coffee.

Y'all. 5,70€ for a single-shot cappuccino?! Not. Cool. We attempted to get some coffee and pastries after a 12-mile walking day, waited for over 5 minutes for someone to greet us or take our order, and nothing. The location is great, the restaurant beautiful, the waitstaff smartly dressed. Excellent people-watching. But for those prices, we should have been greeted with a kiss on the mouth (or at least some fanfare). I'm aware that this is a 2-star review based on nothing, but we tried, and nope.

Like many other Viennese cafes, racist and snobby. The cafe may be "elegant" but the waiters, not so. Unfortunately I would not recommend this cafe to people of "color." I'm Japanese and I went with my family yesterday to Landtmann. I grew up in this city and have been going to Landtmann for years but I was disappointed by the waiter's racist attitude toward us. Obviously he thought he was better or something and made light of the fact that most of my family except for me don't speak German and just took our orders with a cold face and no response whatsoever. We offered him a tip after receiving back the remaining amount but he was "too offended" by us or something not to take our tip and did not even say "thank you." We left saying "thank you" out of common sense courtesy with 2.10 Euros or something but I regret that we even left something. I have to say, Vienna is not the friendliest place for Asians. I know this for a fact after living here for 11 years. Never gonna go there again.

Excellent service. When it's busy sure waiters get busy. Lots of tables, easy to come in without reservation especially in summer. Get typical Austrian cuisine. Good for a casual drink. You'll find many politicians and journalists here during the week.

    YES YES YES OMG YES!
The staff is excellent the food is wow. My stomach has no more room.
Very good. Try the apple strudel with the vanilla cream sauce. The cappuccinos are really good to plenty of foam.

This cafe ruined my good memory of Vienna. No body paid any attention to me after I sat at the table. I had to stop a waiter who was passing for the menu. Then no body came to take the order. I had to ask twice to bring the bill ( I know they call it the check). The worst part happened when I was paying. It was 11.20 Euro, I placed 15 Euro on the tray expecting to get the balance and leaving 2 Euro as tip, but the skinny bold senior waiter grabbed the money and left saying roughly "Thank you Madam, have a good day".

Loved the cake and cocktails here! While it was expensive, it was some of my favorite cakes in Vienna. Also, they have nice water misters for the hot weather outside. The staff was exceptionally lovely and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Vienna.

One of Vienna's "must do" sites, Landtmann's offers a typically Viennese menu for breakfast. Not to be missed is the Apfelstrudel - the dough is thin and soft; it doesn't shatter when cut with a fork. The apples are tender with just a hint of cinnamon.
I paired it with coffee melange which was heavenly.
They are open to midnight, so they have a dinner menu as well. Breakfast is served until 3 PM.

It's everything you expect - professional service, excellent location with a view, classic coffee This is a *must* for any visitor to experience Vienna. You can definitely skip the line at Cafe Central and come here instead. You won't be disappointed.

Cakes, coffee, hot chocolate and everything else your sweet tooth desires. Can be a little crowded and touristic. Servers were very friendly. A classic Cafe in Vienna.

Came here primarily for their famous apple strudel and I wasn't disappointed. It was amazing, much better than cafe diglas' strudel. The mains however were kinda disappointing. Come here for the desserts and nice ambience.

My experience in this cafe was great! I came here with my family after the Christmas market and some time with ice skating. We ate the pumpkin soup and the wiener schnitzel and it was really good! I can recommend these dishes! all the desserts look amazing too! The staff was nice and the environment very chill! not too many people even though it is Christmas time!
