  This place is absolutely insane! If you are reading this and debating booking a night there, just do it! The place is a 1000 year old castle but the rooms are all updated and very comfortable. I'm not lying when I say this is the coolest place I have ever stayed!

  The castle was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice, and you must see for yourself. The staff was extremely hospitable and the accommodations were above expectations. We were sad we could not stay longer to explore more within and around the castle. There are numerous beautifully adorned seating areas throughout the castle to sit and enjoy the old style decorations.

  Wonderful stay at Schloss Matzen. The castle has been beautifully restored to accommodate for guests. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Staff was very friendly

  The rooms are a bit pricey, but they are amazing. You feel like you have gone back in time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great. You can access the castle very easy by car and you can also walk to the nearby town. I would recommend staying there for at least one night.
