Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Hotel needs thorough renovation.

.This hotel turned out to be just suitable for our party of about 70 people travelling on a tour bus through former Eastern Europe and we were just over nighting! They were very efficient in processing this rather large crowd, the rooms were okay'ish, clean and there was even a bath in bathroom so you could relax in it! The staff were friend-lii! They served us a three course dinner and a full buffet breakfast the next morning! This hotel is located a bit away from the cities hustle & bustle which served us good! The building is very snazzii in its own way when you enter the hotel foyer all you see is the very high ceilings and all the hotel floors with stair-cases leading to the first three floor nothing like we have ever experience of a hotel building on our travelling escapades! .nice comfortable accommodation here in Salzburg, Austria!.

Ghastly!!!
I had to wait for 2 hours at the reception for my from to be cleaned in spite of the fact that I was supposed to check in at 1 pm. I was appalled to find cigarette butts in my bathroom even after the the apparent "cleaning" ordeal.!
The experience of staying at this place was pathetic to say the least. It's a very old hotel with small rooms, creaky furniture and worn out locks, doors and furniture. The bathroom is clad with a weird pink 80's tiles. The carpet is stained all over. The bed is very thin and uncomfortable.
There are no supermarkets or restaurants around, it's a completely deserted place for tourists.
The breakfast was just okay, underemployed staff weren't able to handle much, even though there were only a few guests.
It's far from the city centre as well.

Easy accessible hotel with good service and a spacious restaurant. Depending on the season the prices go down a lot, ideal for travelers on a budget

Location very good to get to the Arena, not quite friendly to go anywhere else. No place to eat in the surroundings. Furniture quite old style, bed a bit too stiff. The bathroom has a bath! Continental breakfast, quite variated.

Generally a nice place and I have no significant complaints. Staff were friendly and the food I had there was really tasty. Bit of noise coming from the hallway at early hours with inconsiderate guests leaving so would be nice if the doors were soundproofed.
