Very nice snorkeling from a small sandy beach - 50m long? Need to "swim" out 75m or so over very shallow reef to get to deeper water. Vis was ridiculously good and water warm - this in early April. In addition to assortment of fish over 2 hours I spotted 1 turtle but failed to find a giant clam. Google Map has the trail spot on. We did not try to get to the beach on Larsen Bay, just the one on Fagatele Bay. FYI, we took taxi from Tradewinds, $7. You need to cross some private land to get to trail. On Sunday they do not permit people access in general, but our taxi driver convinced them to let the 2 of us go. Fee was $5 per person. About 1 mile hike, only last 100m or so was a steep descent on dirt trail following a little gully - it is a jungle foot path at the end.
