They dont have tasty coffee. Although , i Like the place

A week ago, we arrived in Bariloche for a month of Spanish study and unschooling with our family of five in a house very close to this upbeat and welcoming coffee shop.
After hearing from multiple sources that this was the best coffee shop in town, we’ve been waiting patiently for today - day one for new owners Helen and her team.
We had clues about today all week - upgrades to the amazing back patio, playful art coming in the door, fun and super comfortable furniture showing up, and a menu that looked delightful. (Yes, we peeked.)
Today did not disappoint. It was a smashing success for Helen and her team.
Our experience was delightful. The tea was loose leaf, fresh, and perfectly brewed. It was delightfully presented with a tasty cookie on the side. The lemon pie was amazing, and the croissants were better than the ones I bought at the bakery last week.
Tomorrow we feast on their lunch options, which look delicious. More on that later!

Week one for Vertiente is in the books, and it was awesome. We were there every day. We had cappuccino and croissants today. We had lunch Tuesday and Thursday - excellent sandwiches and super fresh salads. Wednesday was a merienda of tea and lemon quick bread. Amazing. Helen and family are excellent hosts and beyond hospitable. Officially our favorite coffee shop and lunch spot in town.response / report this review -

muy bien decorado, muy buena atención un agradable y tranquilo cafe para ir a almorzar o tomar un rico cafe o chocolate caliente y pasar un momento agradable todo rico, las silla con pieles le dan el toque chic.

El lugar muy lindo, pero lamentablemente resulto ser un cafe en el cual ni bien terminas de consumir te piden amablemente que te retires. Asi que si estan apurados y quieren sentirse como en un McDonald, los invito a que pasen y conozcan.

Excelente atención, ambientación y comida. Budín exquisito (varios sabores) El té es riquísimo! Son en hebras, con sabores y aromas deliciosos. Muy bien ambientado! Altamente recomendable!

THE ONLY GOOD COFFEE IN BARILOCHE! If you want any thing other than the crap instant nescafe/horrible espresso that everywhere in the south of argentina produces this is the place to go. Produce a quality Latte/Cafe Con Leche, have a great selection of treats and good healthy meals, all within a nice indoor setting and friendly staff
