There are just four rooms, with a maximum occupancy of eight, built in a clever configuration that provides total privacy for each room. The bedroom block is linked to the main building, where meals are served and social activities provided, by an elevated wooden walkway that crosses a stream.
Three large meals and non alcoholic drinks are included in the room rate. Guided walks and kayaking are also part of the package.
Local ingredients are used extensively in the three-course lunches and dinners. Breakfast is an array of breads, fruit, eggs, yoghurt and home baked surprises.
Alcoholic drinks are extra and include beer and wine.
The large room was spotless and well maintained. It had a wardrobe and a large deep shelf behind the bed, but no drawers.
The basin was outside the bathroom. There was a shower (no bath) and a bidet.
A dehumidifier helped dry our towels and there was a ceiling fan, too.
The owners, Adrian and Laura, are gracious and keen to please. They are assisted by cook Ellie and guide Lorena.
Neighbouring farmer Daniel is called on when more muscle is required, for kayak trips for example.
There is a network of well maintained trails on the property and access to trails on neighbouring land.
There is abundant bird life and some mammals. We saw toucans and an agouti.
Bookings can be made via the lodge's website as well as through Trip Advisor.

Pure nature experience at Atlantic forest close from Iguazu falls running for its owners with personalized attention permanently! Try it! It Really worth it!!
