The hotel is well kept & historic. The room i paid for included a "balcony" and i reiterated this when checking in, it only had a door that opened up to a bar at waist level (not sure how this is a balcony if you cannot walk or step out into it). The lobby bar is beautiful but the service is pretty terrible, we got served (a beer and champagne) and waited over 20 minutes to be able to pay but there server disappeared. We ended up having to leave and tell the front desk to please charge it to our room, they asked us to wait but we had to be somewhere. We later signed the receipt. Good location close to congress but we almost got mugged 1 block from the hotel, can be a bit sketchy during the day and i would definitely never walk there at night.
Staff was very friendly. Located near the National Congress. I arrived really earlyaround 5am and they were able to check me in. I had a million questions about Buenos Aires and they were always willing to assist.
Historic and pretty, but service was without a smile and the room smelled like sweat 😰
Great rooms, great service, amazing breakfast, really good food. Just keep in mind that their room service charge is a bit higher than usual, so you may want to take the time to go to their restaurant instead. Supermarkets, drugstores, Starbucks, and enpanadas galore within a block from the hotel. Enjoy your stay!
Stylish and glamorous. The rooms are quite spacious and modern. They lack iron boards, kettles, and coffee machines that other four star hotels usually have. The staff is very helpful and kind.
Beautiful hotel with character, we recieved a very large corner room on the 4th floor, immaculate, excellent bathroom and a separate walk in robe. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast opened.
This hotel is thinly short of spectacular. Full of character elegance yet modern where it needs to be. Wi-Fi has been surprisingly reliable. Rooms might seem small but perfect size for me, I dont need anything bigger. Love the stand in shower area. No slips not movement restriction.
The gym is very complete with cardio equipment and a full set of free weight dumbbells. Also there are two massage rooms if you care to book one at the front desk.
Location is great access to public transportation and a bit busy if someone will pick you up in rush hour. But subte system is very reliable and easy to figure out to get out of bottle neck traffic. Mini market across the street. Restaurants a few block away walking distance along with fast food franchises and cafe parlors.
Common areas are full of art and history. The bar lobby and restaurant are unique picture perfect and comfortable.
The whole hotel has a staff that is friendly professional and going the extra mile to provide any information and service you might ask for. The whole place is clean and well kept. To be improved more iron and ironing boards. In a busy weekend there can be a wait for them. No pool but no big deal. No pantry shop but as mentioned mini market across the street open until late maybe close to 24hrs. Price on its breakfast buffet could be improved either in variety or price for it. $22usd. Vegas endless high end ones are $16. But that is being picky. Main thing would be that each room can choose AC or Heat. Right now the whole hotel goes on AC or Heat. Each room only choose higher lower on and off. Here is the kicker, the nightly rate is most of the time at a very good value for your money level. I just found another great hotel to have as a choice when I am not in Puerto Madero or Palermo areas. This hotel overall is GREAT!
Good location, helpful staff, very good selection for breakfast.
Good location to explore Buenos Aires . The room I got was very small , including the TV . Friendly counter staff at the reception .
The hotel in general is great, except by the staff., rude people. Not friendly at all.
Very sad that they treat the tourist this way.
Art Nouveau building just two blocks from El Congresso. Fine dining in restaurant Manzano.
Love this hotel, for the price and location you can not best it. This hotel has a lot of charm and character. It's been kept clear and modernised so it's very comfortable.
The room was great and I enjoyed the eclectic architecture from the early 20th century. The breakfast too was well thought out. A variety for everyone. The staff was accommodating.
It was clean. An elegant feeling about the place
I went only for breakfast. Not good at all.
Comfortable room, friendly staff, large tasty breakfast spread.
Your not going to find a place like this. Amazing
The hotel was nice, modern, and clean. The location isnt at Palermo which houses a lot of the nightlife but everything is a walk or taxi away.
