Very very good place, with arguably the best Spanish cuisine in BA. The place itself is very nice, the attention to detail and service are also great.
The food is interesting and very tasty, with the starters taking the price (try the Txistorra!). Main disshes are large and hearty, and very well prepared. The octopus and the pork ribs were incredible. Desserts are also top notch, the Torta Vasca and the chocolate truffles in particular.
Next time I'll try the tapas in the bar in the front.
Prices are quite elevated, but in my opinion, worth it.response / report this review -

I love the concept. I love the food. You pay by the tooth pick. Don’t try to cheat! The space feels so good!!! I love the servers. Start with a few and go back for seconds and thirds. Grab a beer and linger with friends or Great for a quick in and out. You can’t find better if you are in a hurry but still value good food.

I walked in Asked for a table for one
A very rude and unfriendly girl started speaking in very fast spanish: "do you know how it works? It is self-service. You get the plate And choose the 'pinchos' , and they are 40 pesos cada". I asked her to please repeat slowly.. She said same thing I asked: "how do i serve myself?" "With your fingers!!!".. Ok I chose 5 'pinchos' and a glass of wine, and sat down Then i saw the menu " is this menu not working?" I asked.. She said she understood i wanted "the pinchos".. I said I wanted a proper dinner She said: "now you have chosen the 'pinchos' so you have to pay for that, and also for dinner afterwards!". Seriously !?! The pinchos were OK But she trapped me into having them!! Quite a scam for what would be a type A restaurant!!! I don't enjoy intentionally currupt places!
