The most overpriced breakfast in Argentina! 300 Pesos for six small half slices of toasted bread and two instant coffees. And when we asked for a little more bread, the manager was rude and defensive. Toilets broken and filthy despite having to pay for camping outside and using the toilet facilities. All the club andino refugios are great. This isn't owned by them and hence why it is not so good.

Unlike the ohter shelters we visited in the area, the hosts of the shelter are extremely inhospitable. They demand money upfront for camping, they won't supply hot water for free, they take the doors handles off the doors to the toilets througout the day. They were very rude to us an a number of guests during our stay. I recomend camping elsewere.

Buena atención. .Julian.Nata y el Vasco ..si entendes la onda del refugio la pasas bien..hay que cooperar también como visitante. ..desde 1985 que voy y.nunca me decepcionó la gente que estuvo a cargo lastima que con el tiempo cambio la decoración y sacaron los banderines. .recuerdos y demás. ..

Muy lindo refugio de montaña, el ascenso inicial es muy empinado, luego se sigue por una ruta de 4x4 y finalmente el caracol 🐌 final. Debe ser el único refugio de montaña con señal 📶 de celular. Las noches son increíbles

Great trek, route is clearly marked. About a 1.5-2.5 hour hike, very steep inclines with plenty lose sand. Can be done without equipment but hiking boots are recommended especially in rainy or wet weather. The refugio is spacious, quite well stocked and very clean.

Se exceden con los precios dentro del lugar considerando que es un refugio bastante accesible para llevar mercaderia. En lo que hace a paisaje es muy recomendable. Una linda experiencia. Lleven agua y comida para almorzar en la cumbre.

Hermosa vista. Luego de pagar $600 por el ascenso casi no te dejan entrar al refugio y, además, atienden bastante mal. El ascenso es hermoso y está bien señalizado. El descenso es algo más difícil.

One of the better refugios on the Nahuel Huapi Traverse; facilities and location are excellent and the views are exceptional - campsite plots are not so great, a lot of dust, rocks and sloped ground. Cover from the elements is also at a premium.
