Beautiful place and great location. I loved the experience of drinking wine with my girls friend in a cottage with such an amazing view out of the window. The only disadvantage are prices: we paid around 3.500$ARS (around 200$ USD) for two nights with simple main dish dinner and a bottle of wine (no breakfast included)! Still, it was worth it.

It says 4 hours to hike up but you could do it in 2/3 at a decent pace. You can camp and stay at the shelter. They have food and booze.

Well worth the 3-hr hike. Excellent mountain views, a small lagoon and stream. You can spend the night if you don't feel like walking back the same day.

Fantastic little Refugio is a gorgeous valley with plenty of tread climbing and rock scrambling. Advise anyone to do they Frey por el filo way up. One of the best bikes I've ever done. Good meal and decent pizza and very cool vibe.

Absolutely worth the walk up here, outstanding views in winter and I'm sure in Summer it would be amazing for the climbing. Good food in the refugio too

You shouldn't expect too much from a refugio, but nonetheless, this is a fine building with incredible views and surroundings - The only real issues are that the capacity is too high for such a small building, and if you camp it's very very exposed to the elements and extremely dusty.
