  Pasamos un día cuando se cerró la ruta. Agradezco enormemente la amabilidad y hospitalidad de esta gente con un gran corazón. Aparte, la comida es muy rica. Lo recomiendo 100%

  "El restaurante de refugio cerro Aconcagua: la "cosa" que llamaban el plato del día era cara e incomible: la voluntad de los mozos mendocinos no pudo salvar al asqueroso bife a la criolla: una sopa mala de carne con gusto a pescado. Una tremenda desilusión."

  This is the worst accommodation in South America.
  
  It is overpriced-- $35 USD for a bunk bed in a room that smells like stale cigarette smoke.
  
  There is no wifi.
  
  The owner just sits in the lobby, glaring at everybody while he chain smokes and watches TV.
  
  The "included breakfast" is a decent (but meager) cup of coffee and then the waiter brings you over to a table full of pastries covered in plastic wrap that have been sitting out for at least a day because they were there when you checked in and you have to pick one--or just a slice of 1-- of these stale pastries.
  
  If this place were $5 or even $10 for the night it would be fine. But for the price? Horrible. Miserable. If I could do it over again, I would have spent the night outside in the cold.
