Great hostel with loads of activities to get people involved. Unfortunately I was there when all the staff were new to volunteering and knew nothing helpful.

We arrived around 9pm and wanted to have a drink. The staff could not recommend anything. Walking along the streets we felt to be in a strange neighbourhood. Also during daytime, the neighbourhood has nothing to offer and is quite shabby.
Our room (double ensuite) had the window over the kitchen, leaving us with stinky, sticky, hot air. No ventilation available.
Bed linen very thin and old.
The breakfast was basically not eatable. The only positive thing was the nice garden.
Mendoza has a few better located hostels to offer!

Great hostel with loads of activities to get people involved. Unfortunately I was there when all the staff were new to volunteering and knew nothing helpful. I'm sure they are better now. Bbq was tasty

Do you delete bad critiques? So here again: The staff is kind, and willing to help with information. Breakfast is ok, and they are offering free vine from 19:00 - 21:00 but it tastes ugly. The beds are very bad, very old and uncomfortable. Please put new mattresses! The WiFi could be better and please fix what is broken. One of the worst hostels I've been.

beds are very basic hostel like, but the terrasse is worth anything! And it's not overcrowded like other hostels it's big.

Good location, staff ok. Very disappointed in the "Apartment" room we booked. Two giant water heaters supplying the entire hostel were in our kitchen which provided noise and excess heat all morning and evening. The bathroom was a giant wet room with no shower curtain so you had to clear everything out before showing and wait for it to dry before it was usable again. The bedroom had the noisiest bed I've ever known and right outside the window was a swing chair which people (we believe staff) used until 1 am on one night (1 am being the cut off for noise). There is a washing machine for free use but the staff also use it for cleaning sheets so it's a challenge getting access and line space is also very short.
