Increible experiencia, elegimos hacer la caminata ida y vuelta, desde el puerto de Villa La Angostura, hasta los bosques, (24 km aprox). Una muy buena forma de conocer el lugar

Don’t go to the spot with panoramic view named “balcony” it’s not worth it.

Outstanding views 360 degreeswherever you look at, the imposing pre- cordillera with snow-capped mountains, endless greens and forests surround you. Nahuel Huapi lake is a huge landscape of colours and transparent waters. The area boasts the best lakes in the world, undoubtedly. Don't miss it!

We arrived mid-afternoon and didn't have a lot of time so we only did the first 1km up to the mirador (lookout) which is free. You have to arrive before 2pm to do the longer trail through the park for which there is an admission fee. I'm glad we did it the trail was steep but the view from the mirador was spectacular.

“What A Trip And What A Long Walk That We Did! Wow! Amazing!”
Back on Monday, May 15, 2017, I decided to walk about 12 kilometers (approximately 6 miles) to visit the Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes out in Neuquen, Argentina just outside of Villa La Angostura.
I was very lucky to also meet Facundo Ragonese and Elizabeth Algarin who were a Very Big Help to ME since I hate walking, hiking or trekking alone.
They were so much fun to be with and they made the four (4) hours of walking time More Enjoyable and Inspiring.
We saw lots of trees, birds, mushrooms, flowers and even a Lake during our very long walk.
At the very end of the walk we took a small motor boat back to the Puerto.
If You like to walk or hike or trek, then please come and visit this park and Yes, there is a fee to enter the park which I believe is 250 pesos ($16.00 U.S. dollars).

Breath-takingly pretty. There's a small fee for entrance and access is closed during high winds due to the risk of tree branches falling and injuring people.

Wish I could have spent more time here! There is a really amazing boardwalk that goes through a section of the forest with several large Arrayán trees that are native to the region. I spent too much time looking at the trees so I didn't get a chance to eat at the Huaiquil restaurant on the island. The desserts looked amazing!

Great fascinating lovely place to reach the furthest corner of the national park there is a nice walk of about 10 km where I strongly suggest to hire a bicycle for those better fit.

Fantastic natural beauty. We took ferry to the end of the park and walked the 12km back. It's not a taxing walk. Take some water and snacks with you and enjoy the views.
